Entomology: searchable databases
At present, there are online databases which provide summary listings of all the entomological collections and archives.
Electronic catalogues of type specimens, with separate databases for each taxonomic order, are currently being released. Diptera databases of type material from the Bigot and Verrall-Collin collections, and the Embioptera, Odonata, Plecoptera and Strepsiptera type material are now online.
