OUMNH Number: 205
Name and quarry location: Fior di pesco (fior di persico), from Eretria, Euboea, Central Greece
Geological description: Triassic tectonite. A sheared marble breccia with late-stage calcite-filled veins and fractures
Comments: Giazza refers to a community in the Monte Lessini area, north of Verona, but this stone is undoubtedly a fior di pesco from Eretria, Greece (see Corsi nos. 118-122), and not from the Verona area.
