Name and quarry location: Alabastro di Camerino, from Camerino, Ancona, Marches, Italy  
Geological description: Compact banded travertine composed of very coarse, transparent, to very fine, translucent calcite.  
Comments: Alabastro di Camerino is listed in Zuccagni-Orlandini's Corografica fisica of 1843, suggesting it was still worked about that time.
