Name and quarry location: Breccia di Cori, from Cori, Latina, Lazio, Italy  
Geological description: Intraformational limestone breccia of peloidal limestone (fragments of Triassic-Jurassic limestones) in pink Jurassic-Cretaceous pelagic limestone matrix.  
Comments: Breccia di Cori should not be confused with Breccia Corallina, an ancient stone from Vezirhan, Turkey. A sample of the Cori stone is illustrated by Faramondi (1985) as 'Breccia Corallina' from Setino, in the commune of Cori. Another example can be seen in the De Santis collection of the Servizio Geologico d’Italia in Rome.
