Name and quarry location: Giallo di Mizzolle, from Mizolle, Val Pantena, Verona, Veneto, Italy  
Geological description: Micritic limestone with abundant yellow rhombic microcrystals of calcite. It has spar-filled fractures and scattered dendritic manganese oxides.  
Comments: The painted number on the back of the specimen indicates a Verona/Vicenza provenance for this limestone (see Verona.pdf for more information). The yellow microcrystals of calcite appear to be a feature of all Corsi's specimens from Mizzolle.
