Name and quarry location: Serpentina verde di Varallo, from Varallo, Novara, Piedmont, Italy  
Geological description: A sheared breccia of serpentinite clasts in fine-grained calcite matrix, with abundant streaks and grains of dark grey oxide minerals.  
Comments: Similar stones from Varallo have been seen in other collections. This specimen has been cut thinner than most of Corsi's samples, and built up with green-painted plaster and stone to the correct depth.
