Name and quarry location: Verde plasma di Corsica, from near Orezza, Monte San Petrone, Haute-Corse, Corsica, France  
Geological description: Metagabbro, the diopside and actinolite-tremolite both coloured bright green by trace chromium.  
Comments: A less sought-after variety than no.700, which is a good example of the most precious Corsican smaragdite.
