Name and quarry location: Serpentina delle Alpi, from the Alps  
Geological description: Serpentinite with colourless plagioclase porphyroblasts. Orange coloration is wax filler.  
Comments: This stone is composed mainly of serpentine group minerals rather than nephrite (compact actinolite-tremolite). It resembles the modern verde vittoria from Lanzada, Lombardy, Italy.
