Name and quarry location: Sicilian jasper, diaspro-agata di Caccamo, from Caccamo, Palermo, Sicily, Italy  
Geological description: Brecciated jasper with yellow brown-dark brown clasts. Colourless crystalline quartz matrix has areas of chalcedony with botryoidal surface clearly visible in some places.  
Comments: Jaspers and agates from Caccamo, Prov. di Palermo, Sicily, Italy are described by Tata (1772) and Jervis (1881, 1889).
