Name and quarry location: Sicilian jasper, probably diaspro di Troina, from Troina, Enna, Sicily, Italy  
Geological description: Radiolarian chert coloured by included limonite mainly concentrated between radiolaria tests. The few thin fractures are agate-banded.  
Comments: Probably from Troina (formerly Traina), Province of Enna, Sicily, Italy. Both Borch (Montana, 1998) and Jervis (1881, 1889) describe 'agate’ coloured yellow from this locality.
