Name and quarry location: Beola di Milano, from Milan, Lombardy, Italy  
Geological description: Mica schist.  
Comments: Beola is used for roofing. This stone is known in the trade today as beola bianca and it comes from the areas of Domodossola, Trontano and Villadossola, in Piedmont, Italy.
