Name and quarry location: Sandstone, from the Alps
Geological description: A quartz sandstone with abundant mafic mineral grains, scattered large forams and other shell fragments, and some calcareous grains/cement.
Comments: Corsi has misclassified this stone as a granite, it belongs with his 'arenaria' (sandstones). It is still possible that it came from the Alps.
