Name and quarry location: Granito di Napoli, from Naples, Campania, Italy  
Geological description: Biotite tonalite. Coarse-grained, with a gneisssose structure developed at one end of specimen. Mica shows rusty-coloured alteration.  
Comments: It is highly unlikely this stone has anything to do with Vesuvius or Naples.
