Name and quarry location: 'Portasanta', locality unknown  
Geological description: Sheared limestone/marble breccia with extensive stylolite development.  
Comments: Although this stone may have been called porta santa by the scalpellini, it has not been recognised as coming from Isle of Chios. Both Seravezza in Italy and the Isle of Skyros in Greece have been suggested as the quarry location.
