Costa Rica is a country in Central America. It's capital is San José. It is bordered by Nicaragua to the north and Panama to the south. The Pacific Ocean stretches along its eastern coast, and the Caribbean Sea along its western coast.
Costa Rica is famous for its natural beauty. The golden toad used to live in a small section of 'cloud forest' now named the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve. It is a very mountainous area and the forest itself is made up of very thick, misty rainforest.
