Hiring the museum

The Museum is closed to the public for roof restoration during 2013.

The Museum is an ideal location for conferences and receptions. The breathtaking neo-Gothic architecture of the main court, and the unique displays, provide the perfect backdrop for corporate or private entertaining.

Our events team understands the requirements of a professional conference and the Museum offers one of the largest lecture theatres in the University; seating three hundred people, it is equipped with state of the art audio-visual equipment.

The Museum offers a range of packages, and catering can be organised for anything from morning coffee to evening drinks, when guests have the opportunity to mingle with the dinosaurs under the ornate glass ceiling of the main court. Accommodation can often be arranged with nearby colleges.
