Statistics for 2009
This year the first swifts were spotted around the Museum tower on 27th April. 2009 was not a very successful breeding season in comparison with recent years. Only 67 young were ringed. Nest occupancy was normal, but most pairs raised only one chick due to the wet cold weather in June and July.
