| Geological description: | A fractured, stylolitised recrystallised limestone or marble, with Liesegang rings of ferruginous colouring. |
| Comments: | This same stone has been seen in a private collection of ancient stones under the name breccia nuvolata. It is not marmor phengite, a matter which is covered in more depth in the commentary to Corsi's Catalogo ragionato. |
