OUMNH Number: 290
Name and quarry location: Lumachella del Ticino, from Ticino, Lombardy, Italy
Geological description: Jurassic fossiliferous calcarenite with punctate brachiopods (Terebratulids) and ammonites.
Comments: This specimen could be from anywhere along the River Ticino which flows through Lombardy into Switzerland, or anywhere in Canton Ticino in Switzerland which is named after the river. Corsi is perhaps more likely to have obtained the sample from near the Italian section of the river.
