| Comments: | This stone in the Naturhistorisches Museum Wien, is labelled as from Sicily. This was confirmed by the illustration and description given by Montana (1998) who say it comes from the Calvario district of Casteldaccia, is a limestone breccia of late Jurassic to early Cretaceous age, and has been widely used in the baroque architecture of Sicily. |
