The painted number on the back of the specimen indicates a Verona/Vicenza provenance for this limestone (see Verona.pdf for more information). Corsi's 'Romegiano' appears to be a typographic error, and may be Romagnano, a village in Val Pantena, or Domegiano, a village in Val d'Illasi. The only stone from Romagnano recorded in Jervis (1889) is a red-marbled breccia that does not match this stone. Corsi's description of the colour, apple-green, is particularly inaccurate; compare this with no. 511 which is of a light green colour.
