Name and quarry location: Fluorite, from Crich, Derbyshire, England  
Geological description: Hydrothermal vein deposit of colourless/iron-stained fluorite, in places showing zoning with inclusions of pyrite/marcasite. It also contains sparse euhedral crystals of sphalerite.  
Comments: This specimen was given to Corsi by the 6th Duke of Devonshire following the Duke's visit to see Corsi's collection in 1824, and another very similar example from Crich is in the Devonshire collections of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.
