Name and quarry location: Pietra dell'Etna, from Mt. Etna, Catania, Sicily, Italy  
Geological description: Altered volcanic breccia with a central pale grey fine-grained zone. The large rounded clasts are ferromagnesian-rich volcanic rock, one having a higher feldspar content. The fine-grained zone has a medium-grained leucocratic carbonate-rich core.
