Name and quarry location: Sicilian jasper, diaspro-agata di Giuliana, from Giuliana, Palermo, Sicily, Italy  
Geological description: Brecciated brown jasper; agate matrix is patchy with hematitic inclusions in some bands; crystalline quartz fills voids. Buff-coloured areas are filler.  
Comments: From Giuliana, Province of Palermo, Sicily, Italy, where, according to Jervis and Tata, many varieties of jasper and agate were obtained.
