| Comments: | Resinite is a variety of opal. Jervis (1881) does not record Tolfa as a provenance of resinite or any other variety of opal. This is the only sample in Corsi's collection that is protected by a very thin sheet of glass glued to the top surface. The specimen is clearly very fragile and has been broken into many pieces and glued back together. |
