Name and quarry location: Granito di Genova, from Genoa, Liguria, Italy  
Geological description: Coarse-grained metagabbro, with serpentinised pyroxene crystals.  
Comments: This is one of the stones (metadiorites or metagabbros) in Corsi's collection that would in the past have been called eufotide (euphotide). They come from Genoa, Elba and various other localities.
