Name and quarry location: Granito antico, possibly granito verde fiorito di bigio from Wadi Umm Balad, near Gebel Dokhan, Eastern Desert, Egypt  
Geological description: Quartz diorite.  
Comments: This may be a rather atypical example of granito verde fiorito di bigio, a quartz diorite from the Precambrian basement rocks at Wadi Umm Balad.
