Name and quarry location: Lumachella di Abruzzo, from Scontrone, L'Aquila, Abruzzo, Italy  
Geological description: Limestone. A shell bed with abundant gastropods and large oysters. The matrix is grey biosparite crowded with bioclasts, predominantly molluscan, but also some small benthic forams.  
Comments: This has been recognised as Lumachella di Abruzzo from Scontrone, in Abruzzo.
