Name and quarry location: Marmo rosa di Stalavena, from Stalavena di Grezzana, Val Pantena, Verona, Veneto, Italy  
Geological description: Not a travertine and so incorrectly classified as alabaster. This is a bioclast-rich burrowed micritic limestone with stylolites and spar-filled fractures.  
Comments: The Verona/Vicenza area, Veneto, Italy is indicated as the provenance by the black number painted on the reverse (see pdf of further information about Verona specimens). This is not a travertine.
