Name and quarry location: Rosso Verona, from Verona, Veneto, Italy  
Geological description: Limestone from the Jurassic Rosso Ammonitico formation. A red nodular, micritic limestone with pervasive clay-coated solution seams.  
Comments: This is a typical rosso verona, and is neither a breccia nor from Milan.
