Name and quarry location: Palombino di Cesena, from Cesena in Emilia, Forli, Emilia-Romagno, Italy  
Geological description: Micritic limestone showing faint iron-staining constrained by a system of healed microfractures.  
Comments: This is an example of pietra paesina, a stone best known from Valdarno, Florence but also found in other locations, some in Emilia-Romagna. The stone shows only faint 'ruin' effects.
