Name and quarry location: Serpentina verde di Susa, from Val di Susa, Turin, Piedmont, Italy  
Geological description: Heavily fractured serpentinite, cemented with grey calcite.  
Comments: Valle di Susa is probably correct. There are several localities for serpentinite in the valley. Jervis (1889) for example notes that marmo verde di Susa (an ophicalcite), was obtained from Bussoleno.
