Name and quarry location: Marmor aequipondus, perhaps from Liguria, Italy  
Geological description: Serpentinised (or possibly fine amphibolitised) peridotite with coarse-grained green former pyroxenes, pale green former olivine domains, and opaque oxide.  
Comments: This is the stone correctly known as marmor aequipondus.
