Name and quarry location: Chiampo perlato, from Chiampo area, Vicenza, Veneto, Italy  
Geological description: Middle Eocene nummulitic limestone, note solution-modified and stylolized fractures.  
Comments: This is a very typical example of Chiampo, the variety called in the trade Chiampo perlato. It is still quarried from the area around Chiampo in Vicenza.
