OUMNH Number: 930  
Name and quarry location: Alabastro fortezzino, probably from one of several quarries at Hatnub, Mallawi, and other locations in the Nile valley, Eastern desert, Egypt.  
Geological description: Fine-grained compact travertine with some slender orange bands, hosted in a nummulitic limestone.  
Comments: The nummulitic limestone hosting this alabaster, together with the very slender orange bands is it, suggest it is an Egyptian alabaster.
