Name and quarry location: almost certainly breccia del Taigeto, breccia verde di Sparta, from the area of Krokees (Levetsova), Laconia, Peloponnese, Greece  
Geological description: Synsedimentary breccio-conglomerate with clasts of porphyritic andesite.  
Comments: This breccia appears to have clasts of porfido serpentino antico (see nos.797-806), and so it would be from the area around Krokees in Greece.
