Name and quarry location: Gabbro eufotide, from Wadi Maghrabiya, Eastern Desert, Egypt  
Geological description: Weakly metamorphosed coarse-grained gabbro with a subtle schiller to the plagioclase feldspar.  
Comments: This is Harrell's variety 'c' of the four varieties of gabbro or metagabbro forming Precambrian basement beds at Wadi Maghrabiya.
