Name and quarry location: Verdesino della Giazza, from Giazza, Verona, Veneto, Italy  
Geological description: Fine-grained bioturbated limestone crowded with bioclasts, mostly thin-shelled bivalves.  
Comments: The painted number on the back of the specimen indicates a Verona/Vicenza provenance for this limestone (see Verona.pdf for more information). Giazza refers to a community in the Monte Lessini area, north of Verona. All references to the Euganean Hills by Corsi are an error on his part.
