Comments: | From Cammarata, Province of Girgenti, Sicily, Italy, see Borch (Montana, 1998). Jervis (1881) in his entry for Cammarata, lists green and yellow agates from Feudo Rossini and the slopes of Monte Gemini, and jaspers of the same colours from Monte Rossino. Tata (1772) also describes specimens of this coloration from the 'territorio di Camerata sopra il Monte Rossino'. |
