Earth Collections: searchable databases

The geological timescale

The palaeontological databases cover all geological time periods, and together give details of nearly 200,000 specimens. There is also a separate database of type, figured and cited specimens.

We are currently redesigning our online collections. Please help us by completing this short user survey.
