The geological timescale

The palaeontological databases cover all geological time periods, and together give details of nearly 200,000 specimens. There is also a separate database of type, figured and cited specimens.

Tourmaline

The mineral collection comprises 30,000 specimens. Also available are the Department of Earth Sciences accession series of rocks, and the MacCulloch geological material.
